What is in Your Cupboard??
I know that I have a picture like this when I was a little one. This morning as my husband and I were trying to wake up in the living room on the couch, we heard bang, clang, and crashes from the kitchen, only to walk in and find that Stinkbug had cleaned out the kitchen cupboard to make a new play area for himself. He is always busy. This play spot lasted for about 5 min and off he went to something new, but luckily I caught the moment on the camera. Enjoy! Have a great Saturday.

Friends
People come in and out of lives all the time, it is only every once in awhile when a true friend comes in and stays. Sometimes it is for just a short while and some others are there a lot longer. No matter how long they hang around, they always seem to make a impact on your life and your life a little lighter.
I had the pleasure of talking to my long time friend on the phone the other night, as I sit here and blog I realize we have been friends for about 18 years....WOW!! 18 years is a long time, and we have been through a lot in those 18 years and still when we get the rare chance to talk, we pick up right where we left off. Though the content of our conversations have changed through out the years from cute boys, to is he the one, to I am getting married, to listen to what my kids have been doing. No matter what, there is still the love of laughing together, laughing at each other, laughing at ourselves, that makes our rare conversations such a treat.
Tonight Junebug is at a friends house, spending the night, and I can only hope that no matter what she chooses in life to become or the battles of life that she may endure, that she is as lucky as I have been, when it comes to friends.
A lot of my happiest memories have been when I have been with friends.
So if you are reading this and haven't made time for a friend, because YOU HAVE BEEN TOO BUSY.....Stop and make time to let them know how important they are to you! Life is short, there might not be a tomorrow to let them know.

Sick of being Sick
No pictures will be with this post.....cause we all have been sick this week. It started last week with me coming home on Wednesday with a fever and diarrhea and then on Monday stinkbug getting sick in the car, which then turned into Wednesday night, Papabug was sick, I was sick...AGAIN and Junebug's tummy hurt. Stinkbug went to Daycare on Thursday and everyone else ended up sick at our house, it was not a good day to be at our house. One thing good about our family, is that we sure like to share everything. It is now Friday eve and everyone seems to be on the mend! Wahooo!! I will take your runny noses anytime Mama Hen!! hehehe

Glam Camp

Junebug attended "Glam Camp" for a day and learned how to take care of her hair and nails properly, and then all the girls got their hair and nails done and got to walk down the red carpet at the end of the day for the parents. Here are some pictures after she was done for the day. You have to love the model pose, that she also learned, hehehe. Sorry the pictures are still sideways, tried the trick that my friend told me and it did not work. I will play with it more this weekend, just tilt your head sideways!!Monday, August 11, 2008
What we have been up to.....

Sorry new to the blogging world will have to call a friend and find out how to turn this picture around...bear with me while I learn, just turn your head a little and you can see our
resident cowboy! Stinkbug loves riding his horse as you can tell. Today he had his 15 month old shots, we got behind schedule -since he is actually 16 months old. He didn't handle the shots very well today, I think he might have a touch of a virus as we were making our 50 mile trip home from the Dr. office he started to projectile vomit, as his sister is yelling right beside him, DON"T PUKE ON ME!!! Hopefully he gets to be feeling better soon. This is the worst part of being a parent, when your kid is sick and hurting and there is nothing you can do about it to fix it. I hate it!!

Junebug is in 4-H this year and one of her projects is photography and so I thought I would share some the pictures she took. I thought she did a superb job, but I could be a little biased. The fair is at the end of this week. Though she is considered a cloverbud, which means she actually does not place at the fair, she just receives participation ribbons, which she is just as excited about. She take great pride in her work and thinks that maybe when she grows up she will be a farmer and a photographer on the side. Works for me!!

About me
Hi, I am 33 years old and live on a small ranch in South Dakota, with my husband and two kids, Junebug - 7 years old and she will be starting second grade in a month and Stinkbug - 16 months and he is a handful. Both my husband and I work full time, and lead a busy life the rest of the time, so I am not for sure how I am going to fit a blog in, but I thought I would give it a try. So welcome to my blog!
