As Junebug and I sit here tonight watching the CMA awards, I am amazed at her as she is only 7 years old, but she knows the majority of all the singers on this show tonight and can name songs that they sing. It is amazing the influence of her friends, the Internet and CMT can make an impact on her life. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan. I think at her age I probably knew two songs, and they were "Elvira" and "Country Roads Take Me Home." She knows so many of the songs and who sings them. That is a knack I do not have. If I hear a song, I can tell you if I have heard it before, but more than likely I can not tell you who sings it or what the title of the song is. So maybe with Junebug's music knowledge, I will learn something. Well better sign off, Taylor Swift is coming on and I get to listen to Junebug sing with her.Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Guess what, lady bug.... part of that lack of knowledge is due to your age. Your poor little brain is too full of mother-stuff. BUT aren't you glad you are NOT seven anymore :D
